Ivory® 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash review and coupon giveaway

Are you using Influenster?? If not, you really should be! I recently received my second box from them and I received the Ivory® 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash. I have been using it for several weeks and I actually really like it. I have even washed my makeup brushes in it and they have come out super soft! I have used it on myself and my daughter and it is very gentle and it smells wonderful. A HUGE perk for me is that the product is white. If you hate scrubbing your grout as much as I do then you really appreciated a white body wash or soap haha. I have had some soaps stain my tiles and it is such a pain to remove! Benefit Skinny Jeans swatches and review

I'm going to try to do more swatches here! I find this is a good platform to put my pictures and do
"mini" reviews!

I love this creaseless cream shadow by benefit. It serves as a really nice base and the color is beautiful. I like to pair this with the Sigma shadow Indian girl (which is probably dc'ed sorry!) but any greyish taupe would look awesome. I think it would also look nice with a shimmery black or by itself! American Apparel Peacock purple swirley konad

I love this American Apparel color - this is ONE coat and is pretty much completely opaque. I wanted to do something with purple that was swirly and peacocky so I think this plate fit the bill!

Coral and gold cheetah konadicure

I love this strong orange coral color from Sephora! It is called Passion. I wanted to do something leaning more summer and I think this is pretty perfect :) I am so happy that I am getting back into doing my nails - it makes me feel more 'me' for sure!

My base coat and top coat combo (gelous advanced nail gel coat and wet n wild fast dry) are still doing awesome! my manis are lasting 3-4 days with very minimal chipping. and I wash my hands A LOT - between the baby and doing dishes and washing clothes etc.

Sinful Colors Envy with white dots

This is my first konadicure in forever! The dots smeared instantly when I applied my top coat which sucks but this color lasted forever and didn't chip for like 4 days! I have been using  wet n wild fast dry top coat and gelous base coat and I think that has been making the difference - love! I can never get symmetrical konad patterns to go on straight so these dots were at an angle ;)

wow! HI! I am here with a NAIL POST - OMGEEE! ok so Flor is finally sleeping a big long stretch at night which means I can stay up a little and do my nails without having to risk messing them up when she wakes up. I feel like a person again (as opposed to just mom!). 

This was the mani I started out with when I decided to take my nails back. I had been wearing naked nails for months and I can't believe how healthy they stayed. my peeling is almost nonexistent and they are long and strong.. hmm something to be said to the chemicals in nail polish for sure. But for now, I am back on the wagon. 

I am also contemplating getting some piggie polish for the little one but I am not sure yet. I don't want to enforce my beauty routines on her as she is obviously her own person! on to the pics :)

finally.. AN UPDATE!

Want to know the real reason I became so lazy and stopped blogging?? I GOT PREGNANT!! Yep! I am 16 weeks today. I have been just sooo tired that I just want to crash and not even do my nails. I have a backlog of manis to upload though - will try to get to that soon. Now that I am in the second trimester, I am feeling much better. I just wish my energy would return! Here is a celebratory baby mani I did.



They turned out looking more Easter than baby related but I really like the way the girl and boy accent nails came out!

A real Native American Thanksgiving Nails

Ya'll know how much I love to be themed right?? We I couldn't find any suitable Thanksgiving konad images and I am getting a bit tired of only dots. SO! I found some Native American type images and I am calling these a REAL Thanksgiving nails. I love the colors and the layering of the feathers. It turned out pretty neat!

purple on purple dots nails

These are my Easter in November nails. Like I said before, I was really tired of Halloween so I went EXTREME with pastels. I picked up this polish at Ulta for the “clearance” price of $4.99. ughhh. So sad when you can get it so much cheaper from head2toebeauty.com. Oh well! I really like the color. It is similar to a color I frankened a couple of months ago.

matte emerald sparkle purple stars halloween nails

I am such a fail recently! This manicure is super old. I was really getting sick of black and orange for Halloween so I went with two other Halloween colors – green and purple! I like the matte sparkly look with the foiled konad over top. This isn’t the neatest mani but you get the picture.
